Autumn has arrived in the northern hemisphere, and for us at EGU that means planning is well underway for the General Assembly in 2027! Continuing our commitment to offer an inclusive meeting, EGU27 will take place both on-site in Vienna, Austria, and virtually, from 4 to 9 April 2027.

As with last year, EGU27 Updates will be posted on the website and sent by email at least once per month, at the beginning of the month. In addition, conveners, authors, exhibitors, and attendees will receive instructional emails when tasks have a specific deadline, so make sure to check your email settings so that you don’t miss anything!

More information about the planned format and additional features of the EGU27 General Assembly will be available soon, but for now let’s kick off the EGU27 Monthly Updates with the important information you need to know about in October!

So, what do you need to do in October?
